WFRW FALL BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING LYNNWOOD, WASHINGTON
Our treasurer and secretary greeted members as they arrived at the BOD.A view of inside Embassy Suites. Our major fundraiser was the BALLOON BASH CONTEST to raise money and win prizes. Friday began with the President's luncheon hosted by President Ellie prior to the beginning of the afternoon workshops. Sue Lani Madsen was our first workshop speaker, who spoke about Left Leaning Media. The women of our afternoon sessions were WFRW members Jan Grayhek, Billie Jean Liedahl, Karie Brown and Cindy Kadinger. Also shown is a YAF ambassador Ann Marie. The Winners' Circle met prior to the banquet. Women dressed and wore hats from 1945 to celebrate the 80th birthday.Past presidents of WFRW cut the cake for the celebration. President Ellie OwnbeyPastor Brian Noble from Family Policy Institute of Washington was our keynote speaker. Voting during the Board of Directors' meeting. During the board meeting, numerous awards were given to members and clubs. After lunch, the balloons started popping and a winner from Silverdale-Seabeck was the big winner. A sparkling ring was one of the items in the gift bags, along with a Constitution.Our luncheon speaker WFRW Secretary Susan Boisselle was our luncheon speaker.
